L/S Equity Analyst (Healthcare), Single Manager Hedge Fund – New York

We are instructed by a boutique, single manager Hedge Fund who are actively looking to hire a Healthcare Equity Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a background in covering Healthcare equities, and a strong track record within this space.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in conducting in-depth research and analysis within the healthcare industry. The position represents an exciting opportunity for career development, with mentorship being provided by a leading Portfolio Manager within the space, and a clearly defined pathway to a money management position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of healthcare companies and industries.

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.

• Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.

• Prepare detailed research reports, investment theses, and presentations for the investment team.

• Collaborate with portfolio managers to identify and recommend investment opportunities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in Healthcare Equities, preferably on the buyside. 

• Experience in Long / Short equities, whilst not required, would be highly advantageous.

• A demonstrable interest in public markets investments, and a passion for healthcare equities.

• You must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.
