European Industrials Equity Analyst -Hedge Fund, London

We are instructed by an Industrials PM at a leading multi-manager, who is looking to grow his team with the addition of a European Industrials Analyst.

The successful candidate will have ~2+ years’ buyside experience, focussed on equities in the European Industrials space. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior portfolio managers, with a view to progress to a senior money management position in a highly meritocratic environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on European Industrial companies, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and industry trend assessment.

• Analyze company financial statements, management discussions, and other relevant financial data to identify investment opportunities and risks.

• Develop detailed investment theses and present findings to the portfolio management team.

• Generate and implement long and short investment ideas within the European Industrials sector.

• Prepare regular reports and presentations on sector performance, individual companies, and market conditions.

Requirements:

• Maximum 5 years markets experience, with at least 2 years on the buyside.

• You must cover a universe of stocks within European Industrials.

• Whilst L/S experience is preferred, our client will consider select applicants with Long Only experience
