Healthcare Private Equity Senior Associate ($15bn+ AUM) – New York
Our client is a major international Private Equity group, specialising in growth equity and buyout investments in mid-market companies across healthcare and its sub verticals. The group oversee $15bn in AUM.
This successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities as well as driving post-investment value creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, transaction structuring, and investment execution, with a passion for working hands-on with portfolio companies, and an excellent track record of performance across the healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing & Market Analysis: Identify potential investment targets and maintain industry knowledge to support deal flow.
Investment Analysis & Diligence: Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence; prepare investment memos and presentations.
Transaction Execution: Support structuring, documentation, and closing processes for new investments.
Portfolio Management: Partner with portfolio companies to implement growth strategies and monitor performance.
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with advisors, industry contacts, and represent the firm at relevant events.
Requirements
3+ years’ Private Equity (Growth or Buyout) experience. Applicants from current M&A Bankers or consultants will NOT be considered.
You MUST have relevant transaction experience within healthcare.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for the healthcare sector and a desire to contribute to the success of innovative healthcare companies.
