Senior Macro Research Sales Opportunity – Independent Research Firm – London
We are partnering with a London-based independent macroeconomic research firm, renowned for their well-received product offerings, to help grow their sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join their outstanding leadership team, comprised of industry-leading experts in the macroeconomic space, and to capitalise on the firm’s recent successes.
The firm produces high-quality macro research, including weekly in-depth analysis, a “key developments” brief, and ad hoc thought leadership pieces. This product suite is a critical resource for C-suite executives and strategic decision-makers within the asset management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a strategic business development plan to expand the client base and strengthen market presence.
Achieve sales targets through successful management and leadership of the sales team.
Build and foster strong, long-lasting customer relationships that support recurring revenue growth.
Provide regular reporting on sales activity and performance to senior management and the board of directors.
Identify emerging market growth opportunities and track competitor activity to inform business strategies.
Recruit, coach, and manage sales representatives, ensuring continuous improvement and performance management.
Requirements:
Successful previous experience in a senior sales role, preferably selling into the financial services industry.
A proven track record of success in managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
Committed to the continuous improvement of strategies, systems, and processes to achieve enhanced results.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
