Geopolitical Risk Intelligence Analyst – London

We are seeking a Geopolitical Risk Intelligence Analyst with 2-4 years of full-time experience to join a leading global advisory firm in London. Our clients include major corporate, investment, and sovereign entities, and we specialize in navigating complex political and sanctions-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze geopolitical events, trends, and their impact on markets and businesses.

  • Conduct in-depth research on risks such as sanctions, political tensions, and elections.

  • Produce detailed risk assessments and reports for corporate and investment clients.

  • Contribute to briefings, presentations, and reports offering strategic insights on global risks.

  • Collaborate with experts in intelligence, diplomacy, and government to provide comprehensive geopolitical analysis.

  • Manage projects with minimal oversight, delivering results that align with client needs.

  • Maintain and update risk databases and tracking systems.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of full-time experience in geopolitical risk, policy analysis, or political intelligence.

  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential, but the role goes beyond writing—project and process management skills are crucial.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in an environment with limited guidance.

  • Interest in a long-term career in geopolitics with the capacity for client interaction.

  • A background in geopolitics, finance, communications, journalism, or consulting is highly desirable.

  • Commercial understanding is key; candidates with only academic or think-tank experience may struggle with the practical implications of geopolitical analysis.

  • Must be UK-based with full work authorization.

About the Firm: The firm offers customized geostrategic advice to clients navigating complex global landscapes. With a London-based core team and a global network of subject matter experts, the firm helps clients understand how geopolitical trends will impact their business objectives and strategic decisions.
