Private Equity Associate (UK Generalist) – London

We are instructed by a market leading Pan European private equity firm, who are looking to grow their investment team with the addition of an associate. The group are a leading player within this space, and currently manage £10bn.

This role would suit a current M&A Associate, or M&A Strategy Consultant with generalist UK coverage, who is looking to move into a Private Equity seat at a prominent pan-European fund.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

• Assist in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.

• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate internally, and with external advisors to execute transactions and manage portfolio investments effectively.

Requirements:

• ~3+ Years M&A experience, at a bulge-bracket or reputable boutique investment bank (Analyst 3 / Associate 1 grade preferred). Consulting backgrounds will also be considered.

• You MUST have relevant transaction experience within either Healthcare, Industrials, or Business Services.

• You will have experience working with transactions ranging from €150mn - €1bn.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Passion for the healthcare sector and a desire to contribute to the success of innovative healthcare companies.
