Equity Analyst (Emerging Markets) – London

Our client, a prestigious London-based asset management firm, are looking to hire an Equity Analyst to join the groups Emerging Markets team. This role will involve providing in-depth research and analysis on companies across developing economies, supporting the firm’s investment strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional with a strong understanding of Emerging Markets to contribute to a leading investment platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive fundamental research and financial analysis on a diverse range of Emerging Markets equities.

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, generating high-conviction, actionable recommendations for portfolio managers.

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess company performance, valuation, and potential returns.

• Perform in-depth due diligence, including industry trend analysis, competitive positioning, and management assessment.

Requirements:

• Up to 5 years’ experience in Asset Management or Equity Research (buy-side preferred).

• Strong expertise in Emerging Markets equities, with a proven ability to analyse businesses across various sectors.

• Proficiency in foreign languages (in particular Arabic) would be advantageous, but not strictly required.

This role is based in London and reports directly to the PM (also CIO) and COO.
