Temporary Office Manager and Administrator

As our operations Manager takes a sabbatical, we’re seeking a Temporary Office Manager and Administrator to provide leave cover. This is a contract role offering a unique opportunity to join our growing team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Crafting social media posts and creating branded content.

  • Supporting internal recruitment, such as scheduling interviews and reviewing CVs.

  • Managing onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation.

  • Coordinating internal training schedules and liaising with external providers.

  • Maintaining up-to-date HR records (e.g., sick leave, holiday tracking).

  • Organizing office activities and initiatives.

  • Researching and arranging team events, office outings, and holidays.

  • Overseeing office supplies and storage inventory.

  • Documenting and improving internal processes.

  • Processing expenses using Xero and Dext (training provided).

  • Managing offboarding tasks and ensuring a smooth transition for departing team members.

  • Tracking employee performance metrics and compiling reports.

  • Supporting the consulting team with additional tasks to enhance workflows and efficiency.

  • Other items yet to be identified to support the consulting team

About You:

  • Organized and detail-oriented: You thrive on accuracy and reliability.

  • Proactive and self-motivated: You’re always one step ahead.

  • Adaptable and hands-on: You’re comfortable juggling diverse tasks and topics.

  • Positive and approachable: You bring a “can-do” attitude to every challenge.

  • Tech-savvy: Strong proficiency in MS Office is a must.

  • Excellent communicator: You have polished written and verbal skills in English.

  • Prior experience in an office environment is preferred but not essential.

  • Must be in the UK with right to work

Contract Details:

  • Position type: Temporary (Contract)

  • Duration: 9 months (July 2025-April2026) with potential for permanent opportunities afterwards

·        Salary: 25-30k plus benefits and potentially bonuses/commission
