We are hiring on behalf of a leading long/short market-neutral hedge fund seeking a Software Equity Analyst to join its investment team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing fund, and learn from a PM with a strong track record.

The Role:

  • Conduct fundamental research on software companies, generating long and short investment ideas.

  • Develop and maintain high-conviction stock recommendations.

  • Work with portfolio managers to refine positions within a market-neutral framework.

  • Analyse industry trends, competitive landscapes, and valuation dislocations.

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years’ experience in equity research:

    • At an investment bank (sell-side research), or

    • On the buy-side at a long/short hedge fund.

  • Deep knowledge of the software sector and valuation frameworks.

  • Proven ability to generate differentiated investment ideas.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
