Geostrategic Business Development Director

We are currently seeking a Strategic Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team and spearhead our growth initiatives.

The Strategic Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for geopolitical analysis and technology. They will have a proven track record in business development, particularly in advisory services, and will be skilled at engaging senior stakeholders across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire new clients by integrating our expert geopolitical analysis with cutting-edge technology solutions.

  • Market Monitoring: Proactively monitor political, economic, and security developments to inform consultative client engagements.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify key decision-makers and form meaningful strategic partnerships.

  • Revenue Growth: Identify and close high-value strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth.

  • Thought Leadership: Create and lead initiatives such as client advisory boards to provide thought leadership on relevant topics.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales executives and account managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development, particularly in advisory services and technology sectors.

  • Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders at the highest levels of finance, corporations, and government.

  • Demonstrated success in creating bespoke solutions and identifying high-value strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent strategic planning and market monitoring skills.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.

  • Educational background in International Relations, Politics, or related fields (MIT, New York University, University College Dublin).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with geopolitical analysis and integrating it into business strategies.

  • Background in financial services, technology, or consulting.

  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.

  • Experience with high-level client advisory engagements and strategic partnerships.

  • Knowledge of political risk and its impact on asset pricing and market developments.
