Developed Markets Equity Strategist
Our client, a prominent macro research firm based in London, is seeking a talented Developed Markets Equity Strategist to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 3-5 years of experience in equity strategy, offering the chance to contribute to high-impact research and shape investment strategies for clients across developed markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct top-down analysis of developed equity markets, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Produce insightful, actionable research reports with market targets, sector allocations, and investment themes.
Develop and communicate equity views to clients, generating investment ideas such as sector pair trades and thematic stock screens.
Utilize both top-down and bottom-up methodologies to build and manage model portfolios aligned with the firm’s strategic outlook.
Collaborate closely with multi-asset research teams to integrate macroeconomic themes into equity strategy.
Support fundamental analysts by incorporating top-down market views into their research and stock ideas.
Engage in regular communication with clients, delivering bespoke equity market insights and contributing to investment discussions.
Manage and update financial models and key datasets to support ongoing research and forecasting efforts.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in equity strategy, ideally within developed markets.
Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and how they impact equity markets.
Ability to generate actionable investment ideas and support clients with relevant and timely research.
Experience collaborating with cross-asset research teams and aligning equity strategy with broader macro themes.
Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and through client interaction.
Skilled in managing and updating financial models and datasets to support research output.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on producing high-quality, data-driven equity insights.
