  • Perform comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis to assess investment opportunities in technology, software, and internet sectors.

  • Develop robust investment theses, focusing on both long and short positions, with an emphasis on short-side opportunities.

  • Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to provide actionable investment insights and recommendations.

  • Create high-quality research reports, presentations, and supporting materials to aid investment decisions.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of professional experience, ideally 2-3 years in M&A Investment Banking or Private Equity. Buy-side experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • Proven exposure to the European technology sector. Experience covering cloud accounting software companies would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in financial modelling and valuations.

  • A genuine passion for public equities, with a deep understanding of equity markets and an eagerness to transition into a long/short equity role.

  • Analytical, driven, and naturally curious, with a particular interest in short-side strategies.

If you are excited about this opportunity and believe your background aligns with the role, we encourage you to apply by sending your CV (in Word format) to fundmanagement@octaviusfinance.com
